What a difference a day makes. I am now in Granada, a beautiful town on Lake
Nicaragua. Lots of old colonial churches, markets, small shops, and lots of
nice people. It is doing a good job of adding some worth to Nicaragua. In a
couple of hours, I take a boat to the island of Ometepe, which is the largest
freshwater lake in the world. I will probably stay through Sunday, since that
is the start of Semana Santo, the holy week. From there, I will blast my way
to Panama as quickly as possible.
