4 DEC - Chefchaouen, Morocco

I am now in my last stop for Morocco, a quiet little mountain town called Chefchaouen. It is kind of a freaky place, but a good place to hang out for a bit. It is tourist hippie town of Morocco; every country seems to have one. The town is built on a hill, and all the buildings are painted a light blue, with bright blue doors. It is a very picturesque place, so needless to say, I've been spending a lot of time taking pictures. Unfortunately, I have just about run out of film, so it seems like a good time to go back to Spain. I hope I can find good film soon. I've already burned through something like 40 rolls!

I have taken to joining all the Moroccans in their fast for Ramadan. It is just easier that way; no dirty looks when I try to sneak a bite during the day. One benefit; the locals are so impressed that I am joining them in fasting that I have been invited to dinner for the past three nights, and I haven't paid for food once.

I may spend tomorrow here as well, so I can enter in my latest story from Europe. I am currently in the process of uploading pictures, so keep your eyes out. In a couple of days, I'll head to a place called El Chorro in Spain for some climbing.
