It is SLOW GOING around here. It took me all day yesterday to go about 100 km. I sat in the shade of a tarp for foru hours yesterday waiting for a single vehicle to Kibondo. The only one that arrived was a petrol truck, which I happily boarded. My pack was strapped on top of the tank.
I got out of Rwanda as quickly as possible, since I was running out of money. I managed to get from Kibuye all the way out into Tanzania is one day. The moment I crossed the border, I noticed an immediate change; people were nice again, things felt safe, and the exchange rates were reasonable. Rwanda was an interesting experience, but I'm glad I'm out.
