31 OCT - Sevilla, Spain

Happy Halloween. I'm still in Sevilla. I met up with a couple of travelers, as well as a Brit who is here doing research in town, and got an offer to stay for a few days. So I've been sleeping on a couch (just like home!) and doing trips around Sevilla. Two days ago, we went to Ronda, an amazing city on the other side of the Sierras, which has a huge gorge running through the middle of town. Probably the most amazing thing I've seen in Spain yet.

Yesterday we went to Cądiz, a port town south of Sevilla. Today I was planning on leaving, but ended up just hanging out. So tomorrow I will finally say adios to Sevilla and head to...Portugal. I figured that I am so close, that it would be worth a few days just to go over and check it out. I'm going to the town of Lagos, which everyone has recommended.

I seem to be spending a lot of time in southern Spain, mostly because the weather is great, it's relatively cheap, and I keep meeting people. It is now obvious that I will be spending at least three weeks in Spain alone. I may end up spending even less time in France/Italy, as they are getting colder all the time.
